      Description

It would be more than useful if we could (finally) have working download stats for our projects.

I do not know of the specific constraints of the Codehaus servers configurations, but wouldn't it be possible to at least have a simple web server logs analysis script such as awstats and the like?

It's been well over 9 months or so since I was last able to get some stats...

      Thanks for your work Ben.

We have over a 1000 domains and over a million hits a day; nothing is "simple"

Download stats are the first item on the work list for December when I have time for Codehaus.

No, we have a plan now - unlike before. I expect we'll see stats around the 7th Dec. Then the massive processing task will commence.

Of course we could always do with more hardware; so if you work for a benevolent company we'd be happy to have sponsorship (i.e. sell you ad-space direct / via Google / or just give you the warm and fuzzy feeling that you're doing the right thing)

        Hi Ben,

First off I would like to re-iterate that we should all be grateful for your efforts in running Codehaus.

I have no direct corporate backing for IzPack so unfortunately I can't help there.

There are however quite a few projects run by famous companies at Codehaus that frequently ask for stats too, so you may investigate if they could provide some hardware (... who said virtualized? )

        Cheers
