Description

XStream users that reported or commented issues in JIRA claimed now more than once that they are not notified about new comments on their issues. Is this some kind of project setting or is something broken for XSTR?

Xstream uses a custom notification scheme - "XStream" - it is not supported by Codehaus.

I can switch the project over to use the normal notification scheme that seems to work well enough for everyone else.

Hi Ben,

thanks for looking into this. I have no idea why there's a custom scheme nor what's the difference to the supported Codehaus' schemes. Seems a historical setup. All we want to have are notifications to the scm-list in general as well as to the appropriate reporters and commenters of an issue.
