Could you please link my confluence account 'tom.huybrechts@gmail.com' to my codehaus account 'tom' ?
I tried it myself, but xircles claims that the username is too long.

I can do this; however I'll point out one thing - your email address will show up in a lot of pages in Confluence. This can become a bit of a spam trap (although gmail is pretty good at stopping them).

I tend to avoid using my email address as a username for this reason.

Your choice however.
