At the moment users cannot subscribe to the Groovy or Grails mailing lists using xircles or using email. This is critical to fix ASAP

There was a bug in the email subscription verification that has been fixed (well 1 bug, 1 misfeature).

I can't detect any issues in the Xircles based subscription - do you have any details for me?

Yes, ~~HAUS-1397~~ is a known feature of ezmlm. Users can't just change their from address from gmail and expect our ezmlm to believe it.

This issue seems to still be there. I've subscribed the following lists:
user@grails.codehaus.org
dev@groovy.codehaus.org
announce@groovy.codehaus.org
jsr@groovy.codehaus.org
user@groovy.codehaus.org

raffaele.castagno AT gruppotesi.com

But I don't receive mails, and cannot send nor receive messages to those lists.

Can anyone help?

Our event processor had stalled due to some unexpected data.

We've fixed the bug and restarted it.

I've verified you are subscribed to those lists.

All users who attempted to subscribed while the queue was down will now be subscribed.
