Description

CLI 1.3 is currently in the making, but only available as a SNAPSHOT. Since we have bugs that more or less depend on that I suggest we upgrade as soon as possible.

GROOVY-4828 seems to have a bug that requires cli 1.3. The issue itself will be closed, this issue will keep track of it

just a reminder, once commons-cli 1.3 is finally released, we should be able to replace instances of GroovyPosixParser with DefaultParser and delete the former (our local hack).
