Description
(I will say that this is my first bug report and I am inexperienced with Groovy, so if it's a load of rubbish then just close it ![]()
The installation of groovy seems to depend on the Xwin server running. I can see no reason for this dependency, for what is essentially a command line and script based tool. Or did I miss some configuration trick?
(I also did not find any installation prerequisite list, e.g. groovy depends on JRE 1.5 and Xwin server etc).
To install groovy, I had to install the Cygwin/X server and I have to run it tunnelled through Putty just to perform the installation.
