Pluggable Griffon test runner

Hmm.... we don't have a test runner in Griffon right now like Grails has. That was something added after our last integration to the grails baseline.

Look for it in the 0.2 series or later, we want to re-align with Grails 1.1 FCS and add plugability for packaging and such.

In the interim, is there anything for 0.1 that would help?

Saying 'test runner' I didn't mean precisely that. Just any pluggable way to receive events from test script: suite started/finished, test started/finished/failed and test output.

Griffon 0.2 added new events when tests are run, the same events that Grails triggers. Would that be enough for now?

Sadly, no. By test suite I meant one class with test cases, which would allow IDE to display a nice test tree. AFAIU Griffon now sends only one global suite start/end event for unit and integration tests. And this won't enable IDE to hook into receiving test STDOUT and STDERR. So the best solution I know is the one made in Grails: to create a helper class that would be filled with tests suites and then run, and give a possibility to replace this class at runtime.

Griffon 0.9 is now aligned with Grails 1.3.2, this means the testing support should be equal in nature now. Is there anything else that we can do for you?
