Description

It would be nice to have a code beautifier for groovy.

maybe we are able to use Jalopy (http://jalopy.sourceforge.net/) as a starting point because it's highly configurable and there are plugins to use Jalopy inside IDEs.

really hope that anyone is able to implement code beautifier for groovy-eclipse plugin
seriously, without "Format" , it really affects me to use groovy as a daily tool.
I am not familiar with "code beautifier", if anyone can share or give some pointer. I may keen to try it out too! pls advise!

A code formatter for Groovy is something I really miss. Any updates on this issue? Are there other formatters that could be used, integrated into Eclipse, for example?

The programmers working on refactoring are getting close to creating a formatter, as a side effect to their refactoring project. When they are ready, we should have the APIs required to add a code beautifier to the plugin.
