      Description

It would be really handy to automatically configure Maven projects that are using groovy Maven plugin to support Groovy nature for corresponding Eclipse projects (e.g. after importing Maven project in Eclipse workspace).

m2eclipse provides extensible project configuration framework that allows to contribute project configurator for Eclipse Groovy plugin. See more details at http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Extensible+project+configuration+framework

M2Eclipse integration is now available from the snapshot update site:

Groovy Update Site For Eclipse 3.5 - http://dist.codehaus.org/groovy/distributions/greclipse/snapshot/e3.5/

I have the p2 metadata linked in from an associated site, so I can replace the feature as required without making any changes to the rest of Groovy-Eclipse. Also, I am not planning on integrating this feature into the continuous build process because I imagine that once the feature is known to work, there will not be many changes to it.

Another thing. Currently, the integration is very simple and no special configuration is supported. The integration checks to see if the maven project uses groovy, and if so, it adds the groovy nature and the appropriate source folders (ie- /src/main/groovy and /src/test/groovy).

If you require further configuration , then please make a note of it in this bug report.
