Groovy Eclipse plug-in On Eclipse3.7 Indigo has compatibility Issues not able to setup Groovy DEv Env

Description

1.I installed Eclipse using cmds:-
yum groupinstall 'Fedora Eclipse'
That gives me
Eclipse Version: 3.7.1
Build id: R3_7_1

2.Then I followed the steps available on link
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GROOVY/Install+Groovy-Eclipse+Plugin
I used http://dist.springsource.org/milestone/GRECLIPSE/e3.7 URL for Update Site

3.Chosen Groovy Eclipse (Required)

4.Then I Created a Groovy Project as specified In the link
http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GROOVY/Create+Your+First+Groovy+Project

I got the error specified in the screen shot eclipse_groovy_1.png

5.Created a Groovy Class in this project,tried opening class file in editor got the error specified in the screen shot eclipse-error-openFile

6.I cleaned up all installation and tried with all URL download not the yum for installation got many similar issues .

7.Tried many times no success.

Can you open your error log and paste any relevant exceptions?

go to Windows -> Show view -> Other -> Error log.

From the error log, this looks like a permissions problem. Make sure that both your workspace (and all sub directories, particularly, .metadata) are writable by the current user. Also, make sure that your eclipse installation is writable as well.

The issue is resolved for me using eclipse indigo(Jar) and not installed from yum.Issue can be closed as I found this as known problem listed now in FAQ.
