Description
The use of H2 as an EPSG database has been a success (it works) but the patient died (it is not used and is being one more thing for Andrea to maintain).
From email:
Hi all,
the epsg-h2 module is unmantained and due to bad experiences with h2
(both corruption and binary format change wise) I guess we're trying to
reduce the usage of h2 from the code base.
So I'm wondering, can I just remove the h2-epsg module or is someone
(e.g. uDig) still using it?
As a replacement - the HSQL implementation loads far faster and has a similar memory footprint near as we can tell.
