        Ian, porting the equations overs is not the hardest part, the annoying bit is testing them against other packages.
        Whether we should embed proj4j as an alternate projection provide is another story.
        It's something we can think about, it would also require quite a substantial investment. As far as I can see proj4j is simpler, which is a pro, but also sorely lacking testing. I guess we'll stay a bit more on the fence and see how things evolve, we have no rush to add the Gall projection and no rush to replace the current projection package either
