Hi,

would it be possible to create a nexus index of your maven repository, so working with m2eclipse and geotools would be much more fun.

Nexus is a Maven Repository Manager from Sonatype, http://nexus.sonatype.org/using/documentation.html. One thing Nexus does is indexing your repository. The Maven Eclipse plugin m2eclipse makes use of that index for finding artifacts, http://docs.codehaus.org/display/M2ECLIPSE/Quick+Search.
