EPSG:21781 (CH1903) converts wrong to EPSG:4326 (WGS84)

Description

Any layer in a nativ SRS of EPSG:21781 is wronly translated in a other SRS, eg. EPSG:4326. The same when using translating bbox in the layer definition.

Btw, there is the possibility that the soure layer is not really in EPSG:21781 (seen many times already in user reports). Did you make sure the reprojection works fine using third party software?

I've been using ogr2ogr for reprojection like : ogr2ogr -s_srs EPSG:21781 -t_srs EPSG:4326 wgs84 shape. This reprojection was correct.

I've been hit by this bug as well. It looks like GeoTools 2.7.3 was the last correct version. All others up to and including 8.6 return wrong values, which leaves us stuck at GeoTools 2.7.3.
I'll upload a simple JUnit test case which reproduces the bug in GeoTools 2.7.4 - 8.6.

Fixed, thanks Marcel for the test, coupled it with Oscar's patch on geotools and this allowed a commit to be made (for each fix we also need a test proving it's working, and it will keep on working in the future)
