Description

Later versions of mapfish print can output image formats (jpg, gif, png, tiff) besides PDF.

This patch reverts GEOS-4931 (not needed in 2.2 branch), pulling latest mapfish dependencies.

The printing demo page and default yaml have been updated to provide multiple output formats.

Anyway, printing plugin is being distributed mainly into the OpenGeo Suite; maybe an actual committer from OpenGeo would be better suited to review what's getting in?

I'll check my notes but we switched the printing module over to a pegged revision because newer SNAPSHOTs were causing problems, so I don't know that just switching back to snapshots is a good idea. Aside from that this is probably ok to update. We should use a minified GeoExt build though.

I was thinking of this: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-4931 which should not be a blocker on trunk/2.2 . I'll double check that everything works, but I think if we just publish a new timestamped snapshot to the OpenGeo repo (something I can take care of) we should be in good shape.

The JS file should still be minimized imo.

If you fix a snapshot, better if it's a version using pdfbox 1.6. See https://github.com/mapfish/mapfish-print/pull/12

For the JS, I would keep it as legible as possible, so others can learn by example.
