Description

WMS-request on ECW-datastores seems to consume all available memory.

The aerialphoto i use is about 10GB. It seems that the memory is not given back to the system so in time Tomcat will crash.

Al kinds of different Java-options for JVM seems to have no influence.

Can you provide a gdalinfo on the image you are trying to access?

Did you try to play with a smaller ecw file? Did that work fine?

How did you configure this plugin in terms of tiling, usage of image_read and so on?
