Description

Originally committed in revisions 10315-10318 , pulled out again before 1.7.0 release.

Note that the Coordinatewriter causes problems for dwins' extrude code, the fixed Coordinatewriter for GeoTools, see http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-2052 , should eliminate this problem.

Undo patch attached for reference.
