Description

See attached screenshot and SLD. The expected behavior would be a point symbol inside the polygon, not at a corner.

Andreas, do you happen to have a data sample for me? In the meantime I'll try to reproduce this on with sample data.
Is that a shapefile or a postgis table btw? (the rendererer are unfortunatley different, shapefile has its own optimized version).

I just reproduced it with the tasmania_water_bodies shapefile that ships with geoserver. And yes, the error also occured with a shapefile.

yeah, me too with sf:restricted. And also with a postgis based layer there is a bug in how the position is computed, but a different one... Will look in both of them
