Description

The two features would be:

  • convertToPath implementation that will append the first argument passed to to() as fragment
  • to() would have an option to call refresh() to make sure that the page is reloaded (because if you only change fragment of the url page does not reload in the browser by default)

I'd like to know a bit more about this. I'm not keen on adding more subclasses if we can avoid it.

I agree that adding subclasses should be avoided but I believe that it's a common scenario (especially for aps using frameworks like backbone.js) and a useful feature. Maybe we could get around it with some static fields on the classes extending from Page that expose the fragment behaviour?
