Potser més usual, "grācies per endavant".
      També "grācies de bestreta".

      Jaume:

      anticipation
      n.
      1. anticipaciķ
      2. expectaciķ, il- lusiķ

At 10 o'clock last night I couldn't, for the life of me, think what the heck 'thanks in anticipation (or advance)' was in Catalan. The Spanish 'gracias de antemano' popped into my head and I think I just very awkwardly moved on from there to arrive at a half-assed attempt at 'grācies d'avantmā' in Catalan. I looked this up in Google, found more than 100 examples and thought 'that'll do!' [blush]. Don't misunderstand me, I acknowledge 100% that 'avantmā' is wrong, it's just quite heartening to see that I wasn't the only one to do a lazy Spanish-Catalan translation and arrive at this answer!

As for 'expectaciķ, il.lusiķ', I see what you mean Jaume. I will make sure to enter 'expectaciķ' as well.
