noun

I'm not sure what to suggest here. A 'stickler' is somebody who insists upon something being done properly and in a way they see as being correct. Some examples:

Her mother is a stickler for the rules.
The England football coach Fabio Capello is said to be a stickler for discipline.
My friend's husband is a stickler for cleanliness. I only wish mine was!
My old Spanish professor was a stickler for accuracy.
When it comes to his work, he is a stickler and a perfectionist.

Etc.
