I've never heard the Catalan word 'tarquim' or the American word 'glop' before. The dictionary definitions I find are as follows:

glop
a thick wet substance that looks, tastes or feels unpleasant

tarquim
llot que les aigües estancades dipositen al fons, que les riuades deixen sobre els camps que inunden, emprat com a adob en agricultura

The Catalan definition seems to describe a particular kind of muddy sludge which is used by farmers as a fertilizer whereas the English definition seems far more general - i.e. any thick, wet substance. For that reason, I'm not sure this works as an entry.
