verb
1. piular

I'm not sure of a Catalan equivalent for this second meaning:
2. (from OALD) twitter (about sth) (especially BrE) to talk quickly in a high excited voice, especially about sth that is not very important
e.g. Louise really got on everybody's nerves as she was always twittering on about something or other

Thinking about the second meaning here, we don't have 'blether' either (which is fairly synonymous with 'twitter').

For 2, maybe parlotejar. It isn't an exact translation.

Nor do we have to witter/witter on.
