To take the case of the US as an example, GNP measures the production of all Americans/American companies, wherever they may be. So if IBM has a wholly-owned factory in Taiwan, its production is part of US GNP.
GDP measures production within the US.
PIB = GDP.
GNP is PNB - producte nacional brut.
