Bah! There is no actual entry for 'rack' to add this to so:
rack
noun
1. Segons el OALD:
(often in compounds) a piece of equipment, usually made of metal or wooden bars, that is used for holding things or for hanging things on: a vegetable / wine / plate / toast rack * I looked through a rack of clothes at the back of the shop. * Remove the cakes from the oven and cool on a wire rack.—see also luggage rack, roof rack. [Not sure what to put here...]
I have no idea what the generic word for 'rack' might be in Catalan, if indeed there is one (help?). However, here are a few compounds:
clothes rack - penja-robes
luggage rack - portaequipatge
magazine rack - revister
roof rack - baca
towel rack [AmE] - tovalloler
wine rack - ampoller? (I found this in the 'Diccionari del Vi' produced by Xavier Rull, not sure if it's widespread in everyday language or not...
2. [food] according to Termcat, this is 'carré'. However, I'm a bit confused as they also claim this means 'loin'. Surely these are two completely different cuts of meat?
3. the rack - el poltre

Re the [food] entry, rack of lamb is carré de xai, which I'd always assumed was a loan-word from French.

Loin is llom, as in llom de porc.
