Habitualment traduïm "welfare state" per "estat del benestar", i així ho tenim a DACCO. Potser caldria explicar en una nota que als Estats Units "welfare state" té connotacions negatives que no té a Europa. Avui hi ha una article al New York Times de Bill Clinton que es titula "How We Ended Welfare, Together".
