Description

The first time I ever heard this expression was last night (on a 2005 British television program). I had absolutely no idea what it meant but have been assured that its use is quite common in the UK these days (particularly in the media).

Apparently, 'happy slapping' is when a person attacks somebody and records the event on their mobile phone. As far as I understand it, that this is an activity most often carried out by school kids and is a kind of bullying (with pictures of the incident often published on the Internet).

According to Wikipedia, this phenomenon has spread across Europe so I was wondering whether there is an expression for it in Catalan?
