Description

verb
1. to run / to travel / to flow (liquid)
(according to the GDLC, this meaning is 'antic', yet a search for 'discorre' via Google returns many, many examples of 'discorre' with this meaning) Some are shown below:

What I haven't come across are any examples showing the following meanings provided by the GDLC which makes it tricky to come up with equivalents:

to reason??

2 tr Idear, inventar. Discórrer una solució per al problema.
to come up with, to invent?

??

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

1. To trace? In programming I saw many times "to trace a flowchart" and I think it can be translated by "recórrer un diagrama (de flux)".

2. "To invent" is fine for me.

3. "To discuss"?

About the label "antic" for that "to flow" meaning, I strongly disagree with it. It's a common meaning, as you googled (demonstration through google :-D).
