Jo aquest verb el faig servir sobretot amb aquest sentit:

En anglès britànic (col- loquial) es pot dir 'to suss somebody out / to have got somebody sussed'

Per exemple:
No l'enganyarem: ja ens ha guipat - We won't fool him: he's got us sussed
Ja t'he filat noia: tu et vols casar - I've got you sussed girl: you want to get married
