Description
It would be nice to access some information (specifically build numbers) in the build script itself - for example, if I wanted to embed the build number in the jar manifest.
I've attached a patch that does this for m2. I'm not sure if you could generalize it to work for all builds, or if you'd have to implement it separately for each build executor.
