This doesn't sound like the right solution, adding a starteam specific option in DefaultContinuumScm. Perhaps the scm manager or scm command should be able to set some default settings for the scm commands instead?

Actually, we can't add new param in wrapper.conf without a manual operation. wrapper.conf generator doensn't allow configuration for this.

2 possibilities :

  • add a faq for starteam user, so they'll can add this property in wrapper.conf => bad solution
  • add a properties field in DefaultContinuumScm so specific properties will be configure in components.xml

Dan, can you provide a patch for this?

Here is the patch where I built continuum-core and tested it on a continuum-1.0.3-snapshot build

I noticed that if a folder is deleted from starteam (removed from view), the deleteLocal approach will not delete the local copy of it (or it's contents).

This seems to be a starteam bug. I ran the stcmd delete-local from the command line and confirmed that it only deletes local artifacts if they are in a starteam, "in view" folder.

renaming a folder is a good way to expose this bug.

just posted here in case anyone is wondering why local debris is not always cleaned up.
