I tried continuum on windows.

I tried too code part that return the hostname on beaver and maven zone.

The code is :

InetAddress address = InetAddress.getLocalHost();
System.out.println(address.getCanonicalHostName());

This code should return the full hostname like beaver.codehaus.org or the ip address.

Alan, can you test this code on your machine?

Under machine.company.com (Power Dog Linux and IBM JDK), I executed a main class with the above code and it returned "localhost". The same class is executed in my box, which has a windows XP and Sun JDK, and it returned "daruma" (my computer name).

address.getHostName()
?

Also, does address.getHostAddress() return 127.0.0.1 or the proper IP?

Maybe we should put the host address in brackets, but other than that I think this is just a matter of configuration on your end.
