projects are not updated when in a distributed build mode

What do you mean by this? I'm not set up to test at the moment, but I was pretty sure a distributed build did an "svn update" before it built the project. Otherwise it would just build the same code over and over. Is that the case?

Continuum project is not updated when there are changes in the pom.xml, like version, notifiers etc...
