patch attached, it also contains the fix for CONTINUUM-1294

for the jsp fixes:
moved the "hidden element" after the table such that "validation.js" can execute correctly..

added patch.

-fixed validation.js for IE.
-modified the ftl so that validation.js used is the template, not in the webwork core.
-modified pom.xml to copy "validation.js" to the webapp folder (visible to the jsp pages)

this should be opened as a new issue if it was fixed in alpha-2, but there is an additional fix to be made. You shouldn't reopen things in an old version.
