We agreed in the team that we never can support each and every possible use case with the query API. From my feeling this is a bit too specific, so we will not add it as Query API. But we added ACT-1293 to allow for own SQL in the API. Another possibility is to add custom queries as described here: https://app.camunda.com/confluence/display/foxUserGuide/Performance+Tuning+with+custom+Queries
